Next Big Thing: WIP Blog Hop-some tags you can't ignore

So, I have been tagged in the WIP Blog Hop.

My official website isn't ready yet, so... I’m going to post this here and link it to my author page on Facebook.

The rules are simple --
***Answer the ten questions about your current WIP (Work In Progress) on your blog
***Tag five other writers/bloggers and add their links so we can hop over and meet them.
It’s that simple.

Ten Interview Questions for The Next Big Thing:

What is the working title of your book?

It's actually three books comprising the Divine Trilogy.  However, the first book will be To Serve Is Divine.

Where did the idea come from for the book?

Most people know, and for those that don't, I've already written about half of the trilogy and posted it as a fanfiction story, also titled TSID... however, in the rework, TSID will become the first book, while the bulk of the fanfic will be retitled A Divine Life. As for the idea of where it originally came from... I had stumbled across a couple of BDSM fanfics and wanted more... so I decided to write it!

What genre does your book fall under?

Without question it is graphic erotica.

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

Okay, I’m going to make these selections based on how I see my characters in my head... the actor that matches the closest gets a nod here!

Kate Winslet as Catherine O’Chancey...feisty emerald eyed Irish lass

Hugh Jackman as Jayden Masterson... how could you not say “Aye, Sir” to that?

Zac Efron as Micah Sanders... chauffeur, right hand man, curious sub

Jill Goodacre as Samantha Jones... secretary and submissive

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

Gah!  Condensed summaries are going to become the bane of my existence aren't they? Okay, I'm cheating and snitching my 'hook' from my query letter!

Catherine O’Chancey, an experienced submissive in her mid-twenties, has decided that she is done hiding from her troubled past and is ready to rejoin the BDSM lifestyle which leads her to Jayden Masterson, an experienced Dom who is looking for more than his current subs can give him; he just doesn’t realize how much more until he finds Catherine.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

I'm in the process of working out the kinks with Renaissance Romance Publishing, with any luck we will come to an agreement and they will be my home!

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

Well, the fanfic version was written over a few months.  So far I have spent about 6 weeks working on the overhaul and new writing, as books 1 and 3 will contain mostly new material!

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

Well, there's "that" book... but I'm truly hoping I do more justice for the lifestyle.  Hmmm... I guess I could say The Sleeping Beauty trilogy by Anne Roquelaure, as it was the first BDSM literature I was exposed to.

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

Easy, my loyal fanfic readers. I have received so much encouragement from them since first starting in 2010, that I know for a fact I would not have had the nerve to do this without them.

What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

I am endeavoring to create a story that will not only excite and thrill the reader, in the naughtiest of ways, but will enlighten them to the true beauty of a Dominant and submissive relationship.  While this story will begin as nothing more than a contractual sexual relationship, by the end, my main characters will have found not only themselves, but each other.
